I noticed a small amount of oxidation after about a year right at the end of the wire.  I just cut it back an inch or so and it was like new again.</description>

		<description>Oxidation starts immediately, however it will take a few months to show effect (this will vary by equipment. You can trim about 3-4 inches off each end and be safe. Use a good crimp vs. solder when making up the banana jacks.</description>
