First off, you can’t get HD out of standard RCA’s, otherwise known as composite video. If you have an HDTV, which I’m assuming you do since it must have an HDMI input, you will notice a significant difference in quality. On to your second question, you probably won’t notice a difference between RCA branded HDMI cables and Monster’s.
Digital is digital. 1s and 0s are 1s and 0s regardless of the cable. Monster Cable is a big rip off.
