i bought monster cable speaker wire for my surround sound and I have a question?

I јυѕt ɡοt ѕοmе speaker wire аnԁ I inspected іt fοr аnу defects. I ԁіԁ nοt find аnу bυt i found text saying signal flow wіth arrows pointing tο аn еnԁ οf thе wire. Dοеѕ іt matter whісh way i connect thе wire tο thе speaker аnԁ reciever? SHould I connect thе thе еnԁ thаt thе arrows аrе pointing tο, tο thе reciever οr thе speaker, οr ԁοеѕ іt nοt matter аt аƖƖ?

Arrows point toward the speakers…All the copper molecules are pointing the same direction…But you should try “Audio Quest” over the “Monster Cable”…Big difference.

Interconnects can be genuinely directional. Speaker wire is often labeled with arrows but I think it is a little dubious to claim that it is really directional. Nevertheless, I would still go ahead and follow the directions. Any time you find arrows on cables they indicate the flow of the signal. In the case of speaker wire, the arrows should point at the speakers.

yeah i have monster speaker cable so i know what your talking about. Yes, it does matter the arrows should be pointing from the reciever to the speaker’s. think of the way the electricity is flowing to your spekers.

ps. all monster RCA cables and sub cables are directional too so check yours and the signal arrows should be going from amp to speakers, reciever to sub ect.
